Division F – Week 4 Recap

Division F – Week 4 Recap
Week 4 delivered high-stakes matchups, and some major movement in the standings. With PSTM still undefeated and teams like Rosemere, Jamaican Bobsled Team, and The Dolphins hot on their heels, the playoff race is heating up. Every game is starting to matter more, and momentum is everything as we approach the second half of the season. The separation between contenders and pretenders is beginning to show, and the next couple of weeks will be crucial for predicting who will hold the trophy. Here’s a full team-by-team breakdown of where things stand in Division F.
PSTM (4–0)
It wasn’t their cleanest game of the season, but PSTM handled business with an 18–7 win over First Down Sniffers. Jesse Kotlarczyk threw 3 TDs (bringing his season total to 15) and connected with five different receivers. Jordan Le (4/6, 32 yards, TD) and Massimo Moniz (3/5, 41 yards, TD) continued their reliable play, while the defense made clutch stops with interceptions from Bomba and Musumeci. The offense showed poise under pressure, even as First Down Sniffers’ defense tried to rally late. PSTM now leads the division in point differential (+48) and looks like a title favorite thanks to their smart decision-making at quarterback, and opportunistic defense. They remain the team to beat.
Rosemere Rhino Pills (3–1)
Idle in Week 4, Rosemere still sits second in the standings with the best defensive numbers in the division (only 38 points allowed in four games). Chazz Pisanelli continues to lead the league in interceptionsnv c (7) and has 2 pick-sixes, making a strong case for Defensive Player of the Year. Rosemere’s ability to take over games with their defense while methodically moving the ball on offense has made them one of the most consistent teams in the division. Expect them to continue to climb if they stay sharp and disciplined. With players like Samuel Tejera and Markus Corsi rounding out a versatile core, this team is built to make a deep run.
Jamaican Bobsled Team (3–1)
The Bobsleds pulled off a gutsy 26–25 win over First Down Sniffers in Week 4, marking one of the most exciting finishes of the season. Steven Polizzi had one of his better games, throwing for 169 yards and 3 TDs, including two deep bombs to Lorenzo Fusser (4/5, 120 yards, 2 TDs). Despite a lower completion rate overall this season, Polizzi showed flashes of what this offense can do when it clicks. Roberto Picciola was a game-changer on defense with 2 INTs and a pick-six, adding to a unit that has been steadily improving. Off the field, the Bobsleds also launched their team Instagram account this week — a great move for visibility and community engagement. Shoutout to them for getting involved and showcasing their team spirit. Keep an eye on them down the stretch. https://www.instagram.com/jamaicanbobsledteam_/

The Dolphins (3–1)
Gianni Rossi and Gianluca Pietrantonio shared QB duties again in a 38–22 win over the Maggots. The real star? Adam Malinoff. With 3 receiving TDs, 4 tackles, and leadership on both sides of the ball, he continues to dominate the division. The Dolphins now lead Division F in scoring (116 points) and have shown that their multi-QB system can be a strength when executed well. Malinoff is looking like the frontrunner for Offensive Player of the Year with 315 yards and 7 touchdowns through four games. James Taite and Ethan Martin continue to support the team with timely contributions on defense, and this roster’s chemistry is improving each week.
Maggots (3–2)
Turnovers crushed them in Week 4. Feng Jiang threw 6 INTs despite adding 169 total yards (127 passing, 42 rushing) and 3 total TDs (2 passing, 1 rushing). The offense can move the ball, but Jiang now leads the league with 15 interceptions. The Maggots have talent, especially in players like Matthew Arns and Justin Lee, but ball security is becoming a serious issue. Matthew Tawa and Mitchell Dolan each found the end zone, but the Maggots will need to clean things up fast if they want to keep to keep improving. The defense has done its job, but they can’t be on the field constantly if the offense keeps turning the ball over.
First Down Sniffers (2–3)
Back-to-back losses this week dropped them below .500. Mathieu Couturier struggled in both outings, throwing 4 INTs combined and only 2 passing TDs. He did manage 2 rushing TDs vs. Jamaican Bobsled Team. Philippe Desjardins continues to be a red-zone threat (5 TDs on 9 catches), and Jason Paquette remains a steady presence both offensively and defensively. Still, the offense hasn’t found enough rhythm and too often relies on big plays to bail them out. Defensively, Olivier Lledo and Guillaume Couture have been opportunistic, each with multiple takeaways. The Sniffers need to bounce back soon or risk losing grip on a top playoff spot.
Gamblers (1–2)
Idle in Week 4, but still too talented to be sitting this low. Alex De Luca (27/57, 242 yards, 5 TDs, 7 INTs) and the offense have struggled with consistency. Giovanni Dalissio and Mathew Antonios give this team legitimate weapons, and the rushing game led by De Luca and Antonios has shown flashes. However, their minus-33 point differential shows the defense has work to do. If the Gamblers can reduce turnovers and start fast, they have the pieces to go on a late-season run. But they need to prove it soon.
Under/Over Achievers (1–3)
A huge 33–28 win over Make Football Great Again! finally got them in the win column. Chris Cacciatore had a monster game with 5 TDs and 171 yards through the air. Kyle Wagland was uncoverable (7/8, 71 yards, 3 TDs), and Ryan Stern added 80 yards and a score. Cacciatore and Wagland also each recorded an interception on defense. Easily their best game of the season, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. This group has shown promise, but penalties and inconsistent quarterback play early on hurt them. If this version of the Achievers continues, they could start to climb the standings.
Vengeance (0–3)
They were off this week, but nothing changes the fact that they’ve only scored 20 points through three games. Matthew Chadwick is completing just 32.2% of his passes with 7 INTs, and the offense has looked out of sync from the start. On the bright side, Josh Currie and Jean-Sébastien Roussy have shown flashes of ability, and the defense has kept games within reach. But unless the offense can generate more first downs and eliminate turnovers, wins will continue to be out of reach. A change at QB or scheme might be necessary to spark a turnaround.
Make Football Great Again! (0–4)
Still winless, but Week 4 was their best effort. They put up 28 points in a tight loss but didn’t have official stats due to missing jerseys. Adam Fellen has thrown just 2 TDs in 2 games, and the offense has been an issue all season. That said, Dylan Dayan and Benjamin Amzallag have shown flashes, and a win might be just around the corner if they stay organized. The lack of execution in key moments has plagued them so far, but the effort is there. If they can show up fully equipped and locked in, this team might surprise someone in the coming weeks.
