Posting Title: FPF Scorekeeping Team Lead

OVERVIEW
The Scorekeeping Team Lead is responsible to scorekeep** as well as oversee any field issues during a given shift. They should have a good understanding of football and be super dependable! The position requires a minimum of 18 hours per week and a maximum of 23 hours per week. Due to the minimum hours, the candidate cannot concurrently play in the WInter 2022 season.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To run the synchronization of the iPads prior to and following each FPF shift
To ensure the iPads are charged prior to each shift
To organize and transport the equipment bag
To sanitize and organize the spare pinnies
To re-stock and organize the First Aid Kit
To serve players looking to buy flagbelts at the field
To act as the liaison between FPF and the facility manager during reservations
To interact with players and officials at the field before, during and after games
To ensure that all soccer nets are properly placed prior to their shift (some locations)
To oversee and input the plays on their field
REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must be available on both Saturday and Sunday late afternoon/evenings; and must also be available on at least two of the following three evenings: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from January 8th to April 10th.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
A good understanding of football (understanding of FPF a bonus)
An effective communicator
Communication skills in both French and English
Technologically competent
Commutes to the field in a car, is able to drive to various locations
Ability to focus on a task for prolonged periods of time
REMUNERATION
$19-$21/hr based on experience

APERÇU
Le chef d’équipe de marqueurs est responsable du pointage** ainsi que de la supervision de tout problème sur le terrain pendant un quart de travail donné. Il/elle doit avoir une bonne compréhension du football et être très fiable ! Le poste exige un minimum de 18 heures par semaine et un maximum de 23 heures par semaine. En raison du nombre d’heures minimum, le candidat ne peut pas jouer en même temps pendant la saison hiver 2022.
RESPONSABILITÉS
Effectuer la synchronisation des iPads avant et après chaque quart de travail de la FPF.
S’assurer que les iPads sont chargés avant chaque quart de travail.
Organiser et transporter le sac d’équipement
Assainir et organiser les dossards.
Réapprovisionner et organiser la trousse de premiers soins.
Servir les joueurs qui cherchent à acheter des flags sur le terrain.
Assurer la liaison entre la FPF et le responsable des installations lors des réservations.
Interagir avec les joueurs et les officiels sur le terrain avant, pendant et après les matchs.
S’assurer que tous les filets de soccer sont correctement placés avant son quart de travail (certains endroits).
Superviser et saisir les jeux sur leur terrain.
EXIGENCES
Le candidat doit être disponible le samedi et le dimanche en fin d’après-midi / en soirée, et doit également être disponible au moins deux des trois soirs suivants : lundi, mardi et mercredi, du 8 janvier au 10 avril.

They are responsible for the activities that occur on their field during their shift. The candidate should have a good understanding of football and be super dependable! The position requires a minimum of 3 hours per week and up to as many as 12 hours per week. The candidate can concurrently play in the Winter 2022 season, however a one team max is ideal.

To organize and set up the equipment for their field prior to their shift
To ensure that all soccer nets are properly placed prior to their shift (some locations)
To interact with players and officials at the field before, during and after games
To oversee and input the plays on their field

Il/elle est responsable des activités qui se déroulent sur son terrain pendant son quart de travail. Le candidat doit avoir une bonne compréhension du football et être très fiable ! Le poste requiert un minimum de 3 heures par semaine et jusqu’à 12 heures par semaine. Le candidat peut jouer en même temps dans la saison d’hiver 2022, mais une équipe maximum est idéale.
