What’s more, Panetta has orchestrated the top-scoring offense in the division, showcasing his leadership and playmaking abilities. As the season progresses, Panetta and the Silent Ticklers will look to build on their success and continue their pursuit of a title, with Panetta leading the charge as one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in Division 2.

Run it Once on a 3 game losing streak

The Division 2 team Run it Once finds themselves in a challenging position after enduring a three-game losing streak. Defeats at the hands of Terror Squad, 2HD, and Ambush have left them with a 2-3 record, a far cry from their promising 2-0 start to the season. Quarterback Jeff Rosenblatt has has had good performances but has yet to deliver the statistical output expected of him. 24 touchdowns and 6 interceptions this places him and the 7th best Qb in the division. Earlier this year I predicted him to finish #1. With only half a season left, Jeff needs to put on a show week to week In order to finish as the top performing Qb. With Rosenblatt at the helm, Run it Once is eager to turn their fortunes around as they prepare to face the Silent Ticklers in Week 9. The upcoming matchup presents a crucial opportunity for Run it Once to break their losing streak and reignite their playoff aspirations. As they regroup and refocus, Run it Once aims to rediscover their winning form and return to contention in Division 2 football.

Raff’s Game of the week Recaps

Braves Vs KGP

Prediction: I predict the Braves to finally shake off their 1 point losses and finally start putting together some wins. Give me Braves 47-34.

Braves Soar Past Stoics in High-Scoring Affair (40-12)

The Braves (2-2) cruised to a convincing 40-12 victory over KGP (2-3) in a Week 8 matchup. The win propels the Braves to .500, while the Stoics under .500 on the season. Maheu Leads Offensive Onslaught: Braves quarterback Jo Maheu orchestrated a dominant performance, throwing for a staggering 225 yards and 6 touchdowns. His favourite target, James Drysdale, hauled in 6 receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown, showcasing their undeniable connection. Wide receivers Gabriel Gariépy and Michael Pierrecin also contributed significantly, each recording at least one touchdown reception. KGP Cant Produce Anything  on Offense: KGP’s offense, on the other hand, sputtered throughout the game. Quarterback Adam Sinagra completed just 15 passes for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also throwing an interception. They were also unsuccessful on fourth downs turning the ball over on downs twice. Not much else to say about this one sided affair. This victory marks a significant turnaround for the Braves, who had started the season 0-2. Jo Maheu’s impressive performance and the team’s overall offensive efficiency were key factors in their success. KGP, on the other hand, will need to address their offensive woes and find ways to generate scoring opportunities if they hope to avoid finishing the season on a long losing streak.

Mangoose Vs The Stoics

Prediction: i’m taking the upset in a close, low scoring affair, Stoics hand Mangoose their first loss 28-26.

Mangoose Maintain Perfect Record with Dominant Win Over Stoics (40-12)

The Mangoose (5-0) continued their undefeated streak with a convincing 40-12 victory over the struggling Stoics (1-4) in Week 8 of Division 2 action. Schaefer Shines: Quarterback Nicolas Schaefer orchestrated the Mangoose offense to a near-flawless performance, completing 18 of 26 passes for 190 yards and a staggering 6 touchdowns. His favourite target, Tristan Fiske-Casault, hauled in 6 receptions for 51 yards and 2 touchdowns, showcasing their undeniable connection. Stoics Struggle: The Stoics, on the other hand, were unable to find their rhythm on offense. Quarterback Charles Rivest completed just 18 passes for 146 yards and 1 touchdown, while also throwing 2 interceptions. Their defence couldn’t contain the potent Mangoose attack. Mangoose wasted no time, scoring two touchdowns through the air from Schaefer to Gabriel Drapeau-Zgoralski and Tristan Fiske-Casault to take a 13-0 lead. The Stoics responded with a touchdown pass from Rivest to Tony Vo. The half ended with the Mangoose leading 13-6. Then Mangoose continued their dominance in the second half, with Schaefer finding Vincent Anctil for a long touchdown pass. Later, Michael Chaput added another score on the ground, extending their lead to 33-6. The Stoics managed a late touchdown pass to E. Peterkin and comleted an onside kick, but the Mangoose defense held firm and Schaefer sealed the win with another touchdown pass to Fiske-Casault. This victory further cements the Mangoose’s position as the team to beat in Division 2. Their high-powered offense, led by the red-hot Schaefer, is clicking on all cylinders. The Stoics, on the other hand, will need to regroup and find solutions to their offensive woes if they hope to turn their season around.

Week 9 Showdown: Allstars Aim to Maintain Top Spot Against Hungry Jamesons

Week 8 in Division 1 heats up with a battle for supremacy as the high-flying Allstars (5-1) face the determined Jamesons (5-1). This matchup between the two top teams promises to be a high-scoring thriller with significant playoff implications. Allstars Look to Solidify Their Lead: The Allstars, currently the #1 seed, boast a potent offense led by the unstoppable Kevin Wyeth. In just six games, Wyeth has amassed over 1300 yards and an astonishing 30 touchdowns, establishing himself as the league’s most prolific passer. Their defense, anchored by a formidable linebacker core, has also been impressive, shutting down opponents and creating crucial turnovers. Jamesons Hunger for Upset: Despite facing a seemingly insurmountable task, the Jamesons refuse to be intimidated. Their 5-1 record showcases their own strength and resilience. Led by the dynamic duo of quarterback Jeff Rosenblatt and wide receiver Adam Rosen, the Jamesons possess an explosive offense capable of trading blows with any team. Their defense, while slightly less dominant than the Allstars’, has displayed flashes of brilliance and will be hungry to prove their worth. Can the Allstars’ high-powered offense, led by Kevin Wyeth, continue their scoring streak against a determined Jamesons defense or will the Jamesons’ offense rise to the occasion and challenge the Allstars’ defense. With the top spot in Division 1 at stake, which team will rise to the challenge and solidify their position as a championship contender? This game promises to be a nail-biter, with both teams fighting tooth and nail for victory. With a high-scoring offense and a tight defensive battle expected, expect an edge-of-your-seat experience for any Division 1 watcher. Mark your calendars and tune in, as this Week 9 showdown will undoubtedly be a pivotal moment in the race for the ultimate championship title. Never bet against the Goat, give me Allstars 52-46.

Week 8: Terror Squad Aims to Upset High-Flying Ambush in Offensive Showdown

Week 8 in Division 2 promises fireworks as the Terror Squad (3-2) attempts to pull off an upset against Ambush (3-2) in a battle with major playoff implications. Both teams are currently tied for the #4 seed, making this matchup crucial for securing a postseason berth and gaining momentum heading into the final stretch of the season. Ambush Soaring with Young Gun: Led by the electric Ben McMahon, Ambush boasts a dynamic offense. In just five games, the young quarterback has thrown for over 1,000 yards and racked up an impressive 25 touchdowns, solidifying himself as one of the league’s most exciting young talents. Their defense, while not impenetrable, has shown flashes of brilliance and will be determined to contain the Terror Squad’s offensive weapons. Terror Squad on the Rise: After a shaky start to the season, Terror Squad seem to have found their groove, winning their last two games. Their offensive attack revolves around the dual-threat ability of quarterback Tam Vilaydeth. With nearly 700 total yards and 18 touchdowns in just four games, Vilaydeth’s speed and quickness pose a constant threat to opposing rushers. The Terror Squad defense, while not as flashy as the Ambush’s, has shown improvement and will be looking to make a statement against a high-powered offense. Just one shy of 10 INT’s on the season and I believe they can get more then one in this showdown. Can the Terror Squad’s defense contain the explosive Ambush offense led by Ben McMahon or Will Tam Vilaydeth’s quick feet and running ability be enough for the Terror Squad to overcome the Ambush’s offensive firepower. This matchup will be a high-scoring, action-packed affair. Both teams possess potent offenses capable of lighting up the scoreboard, while their defences will be under immense pressure to make key stops. Expect a thrilling battle that could have significant implications for the playoff picture in Division 2. Ambush is a really strong squad but Terror Squad really has been playing well so ill take Terror Squad 39-37.
