We Goin’ Sizzler – Week 1

Welcome everyone. We are back! Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Frank Teoli, QB for the REPLACEMENTS. After concussions and a knee surgery prevented me from playing tackle football, I was lucky enough to find FPF.

This article will cover DIVISION D, I will briefly recap games but my main focus will be the weekly individual standouts. Essentially, who brought the sizzle!

We begin with this week’s Johnny Utah: VINCE PISANO threw for 155 yards, 4 TDs with 0 INTs. He was calm and collected as SPERA’S LEGION defeated REPLACEMENTS 38 – 13, sprinkling passes to seven different receivers.

Next, we have this week’s Rod Tidwell: ANGELO GAROFALO had 7 catches on 7 targets for 100 yards and 3 TDs. He put a spell on the defensive coverage as VOODOO bewitched PD’S AND NEGRONIS (it is a cocktail drink) 25 – 12.

This week’s Earl Megget has to be BENJAMIN MCMAHON who ran 9 times for a total of 61 yards. He did this while adding 5 throwing TDs as VULTURES won 30 – 25 over TRAPSTARS, Finkle is Einhorn?

On defense, the Stefan Djordjevic goes to ANTHONY SIGGIA who not only had 2 INTs but also returned them both to the house for pick 6s! C’mon man!

Next, we have this week’s Bobby Boucher: KEVIN MARCIL rushed the QB for 3 SKs and forced him into throwing 3 INTs. Water or Gatorade Kevin?

Finally, the Becky ‘Icebox’ O’Shea for best 2 way performance goes to MATHIEU KHAZAKA who threw for 152 yards with 5 TDs while adding 2 INTs (1 pick 6) on defense as BLACKOUTS blinded CLINKERS 44 – 13.

Our game of the week has to be the Monday night game as THE LEFTOVERS came back from a 12-point deficit at halftime to finish LES BLUES BRANLEURS 13 – 12.
