The exiting FPF playoffs have arrived, igniting the competitive fire of players and teammates as we eagerly anticipate the thrill of postseason action. The road to greatness starts tonight for Tier 2 as we kick of the post season action with the Divisional round. Tier 2 takes center stage, where no teams enjoy a bye week, however, the battle to advance to the divisional round begins tonight as all teams play their first round of playoff acton and many electrifying matchups are set to unfold on the gridiron. Tonight’s games are poised to showcase an intense display of skill and determination 18 deserving teams collide head-on in their quest for glory. With each play, every yard gained or lost, these teams will leave it all on the field as its due or die. Well for most teams. The top 8 seeded teams who have have qualified for the top bracket do have a double elimination, a “second chance” you can say as a loss won’t eliminate them from the playoffs but will drop them down to the lower bracket where there a loss is an elimination The results of these matchups will ultimately determine future opponents, making each game an essential piece of the playoff puzzle. So fasten your seatbelts and brace yourselves for a Flag Football extravaganza.

Still C.R.A The Fist to be Eliminated 

Still C.R.A found themselves as the first casualty of the season, facing elimination after a challenging matchup against the 18 seed Junkyard Dogs. The final score of 42-28 in favour of the Junkyard Dogs reflected a game filled with unexpected twists and standout performances. JYD quarterback Jason Rossie emerged as the star of the game, showcasing pinpoint accuracy and I.Q. Rossie threw an impressive 200 yards, connecting with his receivers for an astounding 6 touchdowns and maintaining a clean slate with zero interceptions. His exceptional performance played a pivotal role in securing the victory for Junkyard Dogs and spelling the end of Still C.R.A’s journey in the competition. The battle for the last playoff spot in Tier 2 unfolded as a wild spectacle, with both teams leaving everything on the field. Still C.R.A faced challenges throughout the game, turning the ball over twice and struggling to contain the offensive onslaught from the Junkyard Dogs. The absence of successful converts proved surprising, as JYD went 0/6 in these crucial plays, highlighting the intensity and unpredictability of the playoffs. Notably, the game showcased an absence of punts, emphasizing the aggressive and high-scoring nature of the matchup. Dime and Bougie end with #1 Seed

As the regular season of the football league comes to a close, Dime and Bougie emerge as the undisputed leaders, clinching the #1 seed with an impressive 7-1 record. The team’s success is attributed to the outstanding performances across the board, with quarterback Jules Regimbald leading the charge in a season marked by excellence. Regimbald’s season-long display of skill and precision has been nothing short of astounding. In just 8 games, he threw for an impressive 1500 yards, securing 42 touchdowns and remarkably only suffering a single interception. His ability to command the field and deliver consistent, high-quality performances has undoubtedly been a driving force behind Dime and Bougie’s success. Ambush last team to make the Top Bracket 

In a dramatic turn of events as the regular season concludes, Ambush clinches the last spot in the top bracket, which comes with the coveted privilege of double elimination. The road to this position was filled with suspense and pivotal matchups, including a game-changing victory over the previously undefeated Kiss My Inlaws. Beer Belly Brigade entered the final week controlling their own fate, needing a crucial win to secure the #8 seed and a spot in the top bracket. However, the stars didn’t align for them, and they were unable to emerge victorious, relinquishing the opportunity and leaving the door open for other contenders. The Stoics, seizing their chance for a late-season surge, secured a win in Week 8, propelling them into contention for a top spot. This strategic victory played a key role in their ascent, allowing them to sneak into the top bracket as the regular season concluded. The defining moment for Ambush came in a high-stakes showdown against the previously undefeated Kiss My Inlaws. In a display of skill, determination, and precision, Ambush emerged triumphant, securing a significant win that not only marked the end of Kiss My Inlaws’ undefeated streak but also propelled Ambush into the #8 seed and the last position in the top bracket. Finals matchup prediction 

As these highly anticipated playoffs unfold, a compelling storyline is poised to play out in the Tier 2 finals. My finals prediction given here before any playoff matches have been played was a tough ask. So many Great teams and not one team that took hold of the division more then any other squad. The top 4 teams are all 7-1 and look poised to have a great playoff run. My assumption is that the #1seed Dime and Bougie, the undeniable force of the top bracket, are expected to navigate through their matchups with relative ease, given their stellar 7-1 regular-season record. With a high-powered offense led by quarterback Jules Regimbald and standout wide receiver Felix Boutet, they appear to have the easiest route to the finals. Their efficient gameplay, balanced offense, and solid defense make them the team to beat in the top bracket. 

On the flip side, EZW, despite an exit from the top bracket at some point, are predicted to showcase resilience and determination in the bottom bracket. The team’s 7-1 record suggests a great roster and lineup capable of overcoming adversity. If EZW can regroup and bring their A-game in the lower bracket, they will emerge as a top contender. I believe this clash between these two powerhouses in the Tier 2 finals would be a great matchup and wildly interesting final. Dime and Bougie’s path may seem paved with relative ease, but EZW’s journey through the bottom bracket is expected to be a testament to their tenacity and skill. The matchup will likely feature contrasting styles of play, with Dime and Bougie relying on their well-established offensive fire power and EZW’s balanced style of play and reliance on Jeremy White. 

In a division full of talent and great QB’s, this finals matchup could be between two completely different teams but this is what my analysis of this season has brought me to conclude. Dime and Bougie Vs EZW in the tier 2 Finals.
