The Writers of FPF: Brent Bodkin (Div.6)

Brent ‘Bad News’ Bodkin returns as the division 6 analyst this season.  I must say I have scarcely seen a media member more committed to his craft.  Brent can often be seen strolling the sidelines with his now infamous notepad scrawling notes for his next article. In fact, I once saw him scouting my own team in preparation for a playoff game as he hid discretely in the halls of Brossard’s Complexe Bell.  He is as healthily obsessed about football as any man can be and his coverage is a credit to our media team.

Q&A

Q-Brent, tell the good people about yourself. Who are you on the field and on the page?

A-I’m a 9ers fan and a football fanatic. I am laid back person who doesn’t sweat the small things. I’m always down for a good time, and I like to make ppl laugh. I am a former QMJFL and CIS player. I believe in putting the team before yourself, and have no problem sacrificing stats for the good of the team. I would rather have no catches and get the win then to have 10 catches and lose. On and off the field, I will always stand up for what I believe in… I’m extremely competitive, and I HATE losing. It kills me inside.

Q-Make a case for division 6 as being the most interesting division.

A-Div 6 is the most interesting division because it has a combination of experienced football players, FPF newbies, and just football fans who have never played the game before. You can’t get all 3 in any of division.

Q-In your experience, who was the greatest Division 6/E team and who has been the most disappointing in your time covering the division.

A-The greatest Div 6 team I have seen is Obamacare. They had a perfect mix of speed and athleticism. They also had a penchant for making a big play at the exact moment their team needed it. You can’t coach that. In my opinion, it’s also what separates them from Looney Goons who more than a few lucky bounces on their way to the championship in the spring season. Most disappointing team is The Minge. Matthew Young has been around forever, 2 wins last Winter Season was a major disappointment.

Q-What are Brent Bodkin’s picks for, TV Shows to binge watch on the holidays. Also what are your recommendations for the now infamous “Netflix and Chill” maneuver?

A-TV shows: Gotham, Ray Donovan, Empire, and Heroes. Netflix: Narcos, Daredevil, Making a Murderer, Masters of None, and Jessica Jones.

Q-Will we have a familiar, returning team take the Division 6 trophy or will it be a new team once again?

A-Obviously we’ll see a new champ.
