Sunday Previews

The season is reaching its final chapters with only 4 games left to play, playoffs are in sight and the battle for post season spots are starting. Wins are needed now more than ever. There is no time to dwell on the past, no time for regrets and no time to think about those close games you lost and should have won. Adjustments will be made, playoff spots will dwindle, post season hope will start to fade away. Just remember that it’s not over, this week is the beginning of the end. Be ready to ball out and finish the season strong. Good Luck.

Braves vs Got-Skills: Four game win streak vs three game losing streak. This game couldn’t come at a worse time for Got-Skills. They will try their best to avoid a fourth straight loss but that task is easier said than done vs a fully loaded Braves squad who have a strangle hold on division 1. These two teams haven’t met yet this season and will have to play vs each other twice in the next 4 weeks. Let’s see if Got-Skills can make the first meeting count and give them a hard time, or if the Braves will continue to dominate the way they do. Key matchup here is between Alex Pilon the speedy two way superstar, and Jeremy Murphy the young rising talent.

PREDICTION: Braves 38-26

Flag Moi L’Sac vs YCSWU: The first time these two teams met, it was quite the shootout. YCSWU got the best of Flag Moi L’Sac with a clutch win on the last play of the game. Flag Moi L’Sac certainly want revenge tonight and they could really use the win seeing as they’ve lost the last four games and are currently last place in division 1.  YCSWU had the bounce back game they needed last week vs Got-Skills but they need to keep it going if they want to stay on top of the division for the best possible playoff spot. The key matchup in this one is between Justin McLean, Div1’s top receiver and Jourdain Alexis, lockdown defender.

PREDICTION: YCSWU 42-40

Les Studs vs BYOB: A great matchup between two talented teams. BYOB sit at 2nd in the division while Les Studs sit at 7th but are feeling great after a huge win vs Taco Tuesday last week. Both of these teams are riding the momentum of their last win but only one will walk away victorious tonight. They both have under 200 PA this season so we can count on a strong defensive performance from both teams. The key matchup here will be between Sebastien Simon the two-way threat, and Emmanuel Kerfella the main offensive weapon for Les Studs.

PREDICTION: BYOB 27-20

Keyport Lock vs The Commission: Both teams coming into this one off a loss but TC desperately needs this win. Surprisingly, The Commission managed to let Lonzo Ballers get their first win of the season last week and now find themselves fighting for a playoff spot. Keyport Lock are a little more comfortable sitting in 5th place at 4-3 but they want to bounce back strong after suffering defeat to Les Maloudes. It’s hard to imagine that TC will be able to contain this efficient Keyport offence who are 2nd in their conference for PF with 206, compared to The Commission’s offensive struggles that see them with the 3rd lowest PF in Div3. Key matchup in this game is between Raoul Baroudi and Keeshon Mayers.

PREDICTION: Keyport Lock 33-12

Junkyard Dogs vs Pineapple Express: These teams let the last two games slip away from them and neither want to be on a three game losing streak. Junkyard Dogs have looked good for the most part this season with some clear offensive chemistry. On the other side of things Pineapple Express have struggled to find their groove on offence and will need to start getting into rhythm soon if they want some post season fun. Excited to see which team will snap their losing streak tonight in this game. The key matchup for this game will be between Joel Malkin, the offensive terror and Paul Lapierre the reception king.

PREDICTION Pineapple Express 30-28
