Playoff Spots and Power Rankings

Whats up FPF, Div C is ramping up as the season is coming to a close with just one more week of regular season action. Only 2 teams have completed the regular season so many games and results will shake up the standings and future playoff matchups. Well look into some week 10 recaps, updated power rankings and some important storylines that have transpired over the last two weeks.
The Commission and All-Backs fight for final playoff spot

The #12 seed AKA the final playoff spot is currently being held by All-Blacks with a 3-6 record. The Commission is right behind them at 3-5 with 2 games remaining. All-Blacks do have the head to head vs The Commission as the defeated them 53-16 in week 9. But if somehow The Commission is able to win their next two games, the will boot All-Blacks from playoff contention. Easier said then done though as The Commission face Sugar Daddies and Lebrontourage, two 6-2 teams who are more then willing too crush their playoff hopes.
LPC’s DPOY’s
The favourites for DPOY in div C both belong to the Les Petites Carottes defence. Both Cedric Maurice and Timoté Nehma-Lacasse are both putting together impressive seasons.
Cedric Maurice: 9 games- 17 TKLs, 8 INTs, 5 PDs and 2 TDs

Timoté Nehma-Lacasse: 4 games- 8 TKLs, 4 INTs, 2 PDs

Cedric Maurice is the clear favourite but It would be interesting to see if Timoté played more then 4 what his stats would look like. But still 1 game remains for all contenders.
Week 10 recaps
Big Fat Bats Edge Hustlers in a 34-31 Thriller
In a high-scoring, down-to-the-wire battle, the Big Fat Bats pulled off a dramatic 34-31 win over the Hustlers in Week 10, improving their playoff positioning and proving they can finish in the clutch. Both teams delivered explosive plays and impressive quarterback performances, but it was BFB’s late-game execution—and one key turnover—that sealed the deal.
The first half was a fireworks show, with both teams trading big plays and touchdowns. After an early TD from Zeppetelli to Boyer, Gerin-Lajoie immediately responded with a 40-yard bomb to Grégoire. The two teams went back and forth, combining for 6 touchdowns before halftime. Caparelli and Knez each found the endzone for the Bats, while Lefebvre and Tessier added scores for the Hustlers. BFB took a slight edge into halftime thanks to a late score from Boyer, giving them a 28-19 lead.
With the score tight at 28-25 in the second half, Gerin-Lajoie struck again, finding Grégoire for his third TD of the night. The Hustlers reclaimed the lead at 31-28, but once again failed on the two-point attempt—something that would prove costly.
Zeppetelli answered quickly, hitting Baptiste on a deep 30-yard strike to retake the lead, 34-31. After forcing the Hustlers into a pivotal drive ,BFB’ defense stepped up as Tristan Boyer intercepted Gerin-Lajoie, giving the Bats a chance to close it out.
From there, Zeppetelli went back to work, connecting with Boyer and then launching a 34-yard strike to Baptiste to put them in clock-killing mode. They smartly managed the final minutes, sealing the win with controlled short passes and a strong defensive stand.
QB Duel: Zeppetelli vs. Gerin-Lajoie, Both quarterbacks brought their A-game.
Mathew Zeppetelli (Big Fat Bats) was efficient, patient, and aggressive when it mattered most. He finished with 5 passing touchdowns, spreading the ball to multiple receivers including Tristan Boyer, Michael Caparelli, Nicolas Knez, and Tallec Baptiste. Despite a few misfires, Zeppetelli showed poise on crucial 4th downs, converting two clutch 4th down passes in the second half that ultimately led to game-sealing drives.
Felix Gerin-Lajoie (Hustlers) nearly matched him, tossing 5 touchdown passes of his own, including three long bombs to Alec Grégoire and a smooth connection with Tristan Tessier. Gerin-Lajoie showed flashes of brilliance, moving the ball with ease in spread sets, and even added value with his legs.
This was more than just another win for Big Fat Bats, it was a statement. Zeppetelli’s leadership in the final minutes, combined with a clutch defensive stand, showed that this team can grind out wins even when their opponent goes blow-for-blow. The Hustlers, though falling short, looked dangerous throughout. With Gerin-Lajoie under center, they remain a serious playoff threat—if they can clean up their red zone execution and extra point conversions.
Final Score:
Big Fat Bats 34 – Hustlers 31
Sugar Daddies Dominate Beer Belly Brigade 40–13
In one of the most lopsided results of the season, the Sugar Daddies dismantled Beer Belly Brigade with a commanding 40–13 victory in Week 10. What was expected to be a close contest quickly turned into a showcase of Sugar Daddies’ high-powered offense and opportunistic defense, as Beer Belly Brigade needed to call a substitute QB as Alexandre Fafard is unable to play due to an injured shoulder.
Beer Belly Brigade opened the game with promise, as Martin completed two strong passes to move into scoring position. But a drive-ending interception by Jared Buck on their third play swung the early momentum. Buck turned that into a touchdown to Szalipszki, and the Sugar Daddies never looked back. While Martin was able to briefly answer with a scoring toss to Fortier, Sugar Daddies answered with three more touchdown drives before the half. A deep 40-yard TD from Martin to Tran-Khanh before halftime gave the Brigade some life, but by then the score was already 26–13.
The second half was all Sugar Daddies. Buck continued to slice up the Brigade defense with quick reads and surgical passes, hitting Szalipszki, Agrebi, and finally Lepage for his sixth touchdown of the game. On the other side, the Brigade offense completely stalled—Martin threw two more interceptions, went 0-for-6 on his last 2 drives, and suffered a bad snap that resulted in a safety to further compound the blowout.
This was a complete performance from Sugar Daddies. Jared Buck was in control all night, the receivers were reliable and explosive, and the defense forced five turnovers and added a safety. They look like a serious contender heading into the final stretch of the season. As for Beer Belly Brigade, the offense needs to regroup quickly. The talent is there, but QB consistency must improve if they want to bounce back from this one-sided defeat, especially in Alex Fafard is unable to return this season.
Final Score:
Sugar Daddies 40 – Beer Belly Brigade 13
Power Rankings
- Les Petites Carottes 8-1
Their latest game was a tight loss to Speed Academy where they had the final possession and moved the ball 32 yards in 2 plays. Unfortunately time expired and LPC took their first loss of the season. Still I love the way they are playing and they took their first loss to a tough opponent. With 1 more play I have faith in this squad to score and win so they still stand at the top.
2. Sugar Daddies 6-2
Only taking losses from LPC and LeBrontourage Sugar Daddies have been a force in division C. Climbing put he rankings due to their awesome offensive performances. In just 7 games Jared Buck has thrown for 1400 yards 32 touchdowns and is completing passes at over 60%. With his receivers that he has tons fo chemistry with, I can see this team going far and taking down one of the top teams in a revenge playoff game.
3. Speed Academy 6-2
Im not sure how to feel about this team anymore as they took two losses to Beer Belly brigade and The Commission. I knew that rusher was a missing piece for this team but I didn’t think they would have lost both games due to a mobile quarterback. But then they go out in week 9 and take down the undefeated LPC squad. So I couldn’t move this team down in the power rankings even though they have lost 2 of their last 3.
4. LeBrontourage 6-2
LeBrontourage might have an issue as I have heard that their superstar Jeremy Murphy has moved away from Montreal. This would explain why he hasn’t been to a game in more then 3 weeks. He is eligible for playoffs so it would be in their best interest if Murphy is around for playoff time. If not they definitely lost their best Wr and leader of the team so they are no longer considered a top 3 team at this time. A loss to MOFOS not only shows that MOFO’s can compete but that Lebrontourage will face more challenges then it did all year.
5. Jagerbomb 5-3
Still with 2 games remaining Jagerbomb spot in the standings can fluctuate, especially with a week 11 game versus LeBrontourage. Simon Duchesne is currently leading or in the top 3 of every QB stat after 8 weeks and with 2 more games to play he will certainly be the one to catch in the QBOY conversation.
6. Coldest 5-4
Sitting at the 7th seed Coldest have been inconstant to say the least. But on a 2 game win streak I still feel that this team can compete with anyone in the division. Their last 5 games were either won or lost by 5 points or less. That tells me that no matter who the opponent they will compete. Ted Olivier has stepped in for Sammy Omombo as QB due to an injury but hopefully Sammy will be back for playoff time. If not we may see an official roster substitution as Ted Olivier would be eligible to absorb Sammy’s games played due to his injury. Very interesting to monitor how that situation will unfold and how their final regular season game will turn out.
7. MOFO 5-4
This team without TIemoko Sanogo is a literal 180. Two great wins against top competition and then a 35-12 loss. 5 different players took snaps under center for MOFOS and none were really successful as they only scored twice with 0 converts. I believe this means that Tiemoko Sanogo won’t be eligible for playoffs so even though this team appears in the power rankings this won’t be a dark horse team without the stellar play of their QB.
8. The Hustlers 4-6
Already done for the season, The Hustlers ended their first division C season at 4-6. A little tougher road then they’re used to as the former Div D team under the name Jagerbombers is used to at least a 8 win season. Obviously div C is more competitive and they have had their hiccups but I do believe that the Hustlers are at least 8th best team in the division. Felix Gerin-Lajoie is a force to be reckon with as his mobility opens up his pass game like no other. Thrown for 40 tds and only 6 ints his ball security is elite. Not to mention he also has 300 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Plus a WR1 like Alec Grégoire will absolutely get your offence moving the ball. This team might not find themselves deep in the playoffs but they are going to be better every season.
