F Division F Weekly Recap
With one week in the books — and one early Week 2 result already logged — a few names are already making headlines on the stat sheet.
Maggots, Dolphins, PSTM, and Jamaican Bobsled Team Start 1–0
Maggots 30, Make Football Great Again! 16
In one of the highest-scoring performances of the week, the Maggots opened their season in style. Quarterback Feng Jiang threw for 155 yards and 5 touchdowns with no interceptions, earning a 116.8 QB rating. Receiver Matthew Arns was the top target, finishing with 6 catches for 100 yards and 4 touchdowns — both Division F highs.
On defense, the Maggots were just as impactful. Jiang contributed two interceptions, while Mitchell Dolan had 3 sacks.
Make Football Great Again! found the end zone twice thanks to Adam Fellen’s 2 touchdown passes to Benjamin Amzallag, but he also surrendered 2 interceptions and 3 sacks. They’ll try to bounce back in Week 3.
The Dolphins 33, Gamblers 12
The Dolphins put together the most complete performance of the week, winning by 21 points. Quarterback Devyn Sandler was nearly flawless, throwing for 191 yards and 4 touchdowns with no interceptions and completing 71% of his passes.
Receiver Adam Malinoff had a great game, leading all players with 111 receiving yards and adding 2 touchdowns. Gianluca Pietrantonio also added 70 yards and 2 touchdowns on 7 catches.
Defensively, Malinoff and Pietrantonio each recorded 2 interceptions. Malinoff also returned one for a touchdown, making him one of Week 1’s top two-way players.
Gamblers quarterback Alex De Luca threw 2 touchdowns but was intercepted 4 times. Giovanni Dalissio had 6 receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort.
PSTM 31, Under/Over Achievers 18
PSTM got their season off on the right foot with a double-digit win, thanks to a solid performance from quarterback Jesse Kotlarczyk. He threw for a division-high 207 yards and 5 touchdowns, connecting with five different receivers.
Jordan Le was a difference-maker on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he had 6 catches for 106 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, he recorded 3 interceptions and a pass deflection, leading all defenders in picks.
Antonio Venturino chipped in with 67 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
Under/Over Achievers struggled with ball security. Quarterback Daniel Dorfman threw 5 interceptions despite also tossing 2 touchdown passes. His touchdowns went to Kyle Wagland and Aidan Yardley-Jones, while Ryan Stern added a pick-six on defense.
Jamaican Bobsled Team 19, Rosemere Rhino Pills 12
In a tight battle, the Jamaican Bobsled Team came away with a narrow win. Quarterback Steven Polizzi passed for 161 yards and 3 touchdowns, though he also threw 2 interceptions. Receiver Lucas Mariani made the most of his two catches, both of which went for touchdowns.
Adriano Gonzalez-Calabrese added 65 yards and a score, while the defense held Rosemere in check with 4 interceptions.
Rosemere Rhino Pills quarterback William Lessard threw for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns but was intercepted 4 times. Samuel Tejera and Markus Corsi each scored once, and the team would later rebound in Week 2 with a convincing 31–7 win over Vengeance.
