Division F – Week 3 Recap

Division F – Week 3 Recap

We are three weeks into the Spring 2025 season and Division F is chaotic. Some teams have cemented their contender status, while others are still scrambling for answers. Rosemere Rhino Pills, Maggots and PSTM sit atop the standings at 3–1 and 3–0 , while the Dolphins, JBT and First Down Sniffers are locked in a dogfight for positioning. Meanwhile, half the division is still winless — but in this tier of FlagPlus Football, development is often as important as wins.

Rosemere Rhino Pills (3–1)

After a tough Week 1 loss, Rosemere has completely flipped the narrative. A dominant Week 3 saw them cruise past the Gamblers 30–6, then dismantle the Maggots 32–6. They now lead the division in both points scored (105) and point differential (+67).

Quarterback William Lessard has bounced back in a big way, leading Division F in touchdowns (15) while spreading the ball to a variety of weapons. His top target, Chazz Pisanelli, has been elite on both sides of the ball — leading the league with 7 interceptions, 2 defensive touchdowns, and 174 receiving yards.

Rosemere has built a versatile receiving corps. Samuel Tejera has emerged as a dependable secondary option (121 yards, 3 TDs), while Mario Pisanelli and Markus Corsi have combined for 6 scores. The defensive side has been even scarier: Duncan Lessard, Kyle McGilton, and Pisanelli form a fearsome core that punishes mistakes.

PSTM (3–0)

PSTM continues to handle business — nothing flashy, just effective execution.

Quarterback Jesse Kotlarczyk is second in the division in passing yards (523) and has thrown 12 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions.

Jordan Le
Le is having a quietly excellent season. With 169 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions on defense, he’s arguably been PSTM’s most valuable two-way player. His intelligence and ability to jump routes give Kotlarczyk extra possessions — and in close games, that matters.

Antonio Venturino (118 yards, 3 TDs), Joey Musumeci, and Massimo Moniz round out an offense that doesn’t rely on one guy. On defense, Moniz adds 2 interceptions, and Julian Salvatore brings energy while rushing.

Maggots (3–1)

The Maggots entered Week 3 as one of the last undefeated teams and left with their first taste of adversity. They were thoroughly outplayed in a 32–6 loss to Rosemere — but bounced back strong with a gritty 18–8 win over Jamaican Bobsled Team.

Quarterback Feng Jiang continues to be one of the most impactful and unique players in Division F. He sits fourth in passing yards (468), first in rushing yards (133), and second in defensive interceptions (5). His ability to influence the game in all three phases — passing, rushing, and defense — makes him a two-way MVP candidate. That said, ball security is still a concern: his 9 interceptions and 6 sacks taken are the most among the top-tier QBs.

Matthew Arns
Arns has 5 touchdowns on just 10 receptions, which speaks volumes about how effective he is in the red zone. Even with modest usage, his presence changes how defenses align — and opens up space for players like Justin Lee, Madison Arns, and Mitchell Dolan to contribute.

On defense, Dolan has been disruptive with 4 sacks and 2 picks in just two appearances. His presence gives the Maggots a much-needed edge in close games. While Week 3 showed they aren’t invincible, they’ve proven they can bounce back — and that resilience will be key in the playoff hunt.

First Down Sniffers (2–1)

After dismantling Under/Over Achievers 33–7, they dropped a tight 25–19 loss to the Dolphins — but even in defeat, the defense made things difficult.

QB Mathieu Couturier is quietly putting together a strong season: 8 TDs, just 1 INT, 96 rushing yards, and a 99.8 QB rating. He’s not flashy, but he’s efficient. Olivier Lledo, Philippe Desjardins, and Jason Paquette are his main options, and each has contributed in the red zone.

Thierry Levasseur
Levasseur is one of the best rushers in Division F. With 4 sacks already, he’s disruptive and relentless. On a team that thrives on defensive discipline, he’s the perfect anchor.

This team doesn’t need to win shootouts — they just need to suffocate you for 60 minutes. And they’re fully capable of doing it.

The Dolphins (2–1)

After pushing PSTM in a 26–20 loss, the Dolphins bounced back in Week 3 with a crucial 25–19 win over First Down Sniffers. QB Devyn Sandler leads the division in passing yards (525), has thrown 11 TDs, and owns the best passer rating (102.1). His vision, accuracy, and mobility make this offense extremely difficult to stop.

Adam Malinoff
Malinoff has a strong case for best all-around player in the division. He leads all receivers with 250 yards and 4 touchdowns, and on defense, he has 3 INTs and a pick-six. He stretches the field vertically and dominates one-on-ones.

Add in reliable contributors like Mitchell Kobernick, Gianluca Pietrantonio, and Nikolas Zaharatos, and you get a championship-caliber squad.

Jamaican Bobsled Team (2–1)

Week 3 brought JBT back to earth with a surprising 18–8 loss to the Maggots, but this is still a team with plenty of potential. The main issue? QB play. Steven Polizzi has 5 TDs to 7 INTs and the lowest completion rate among starters (39.5%).

Giulio Scarpetta
Scarpetta leads the team with 4 interceptions and has become the identity of this defense. He breaks on routes with confidence and has helped JBT hang in low-scoring battles. Lorenzo Fusser, Roberto Picciola, and Lucas Mariani have also chipped in, giving JBT one of the deepest defensive units in the division.

If the offense can even reach average levels, this team has a serious ceiling.

Gamblers (1–2)

After blowout losses to the Dolphins and Rosemere, the Gamblers picked up a much-needed 26–14 win over MFG. QB Alex De Luca still has 7 interceptions, but he looked more composed in Week 3 and spread the ball more efficiently.

Mathew Antonios
Antonios has emerged as a dual-threat weapon — averaging 20 yards per catch and adding 2 sacks on defense. His ability to flip the field and disrupt opposing QBs makes him one of the few bright spots on an otherwise inconsistent team.

This team is loaded with athletes. If they can clean up the turnovers, they could be dangerous down the stretch.

Make Football Great Again! (0–3)

Through three games, MFG has scored just 37 points — and after a 26–14 loss to the Gamblers, it’s clear the offense hasn’t turned the corner. QB Adam Fellen has 2 TDs, 3 INTs, and a 44.1 QB rating, that’s not enough.

This team has pieces, including Dylan Dayan and Benjamin Amzallag. But they need someone taking the snap who can unlock them.

Vengeance (0–3)

Vengeance has scored just 20 points across three games — and been shut out by PSTM. QB Matthew Chadwick has 3 TDs and 7 INTs, completing just 32.2% of passes. The numbers don’t lie — this isn’t working.

Josh Currie
Currie brings an edge to this team. He’s tied for the team lead in tackles and adds value on both sides of the ball. If Vengeance can figure out a passing identity, players like Currie and Jean-Sébastien Roussy will shine.

It’s not too late, but change needs to come fast.

Under/Over Achievers (0–3)

The record isn’t pretty, but there’s a silver lining: the Achievers are experimenting. Both Daniel Dorfman and Chris Cacciatore have taken snaps at QB, though the results haven’t come yet (13 INTs combined).

Ryan Stern
Stern has quietly been a force on defense — 8 tackles, 2 pass breakups, 1 interception, and a touchdown. He’s a glue guy on a team that’s still figuring out its identity.

This group isn’t winning yet, but they’re moving in the right direction. If they stay patient and committed, the wins will come.
