Division E – The Top 10 Teams in the Standings
With about five weeks of action now in the books, ten teams have risen to the top based on record, point differential, and overall consistency. This article takes a closer look at the current top 10 teams in the standings, breaking down what’s fueled their early success. From undefeated squads to high-scoring offenses and emerging defensive stars, these are the teams who’ve put themselves in strong position heading into the second half of the season.

Airs University (4–0)
Airs University remains perfect through four weeks and continues to make their case as the top team in Division E. After edging out tight wins in Weeks 1 and 2 (13–12 over Demons, 19–13 against TD Blitz), they completely flipped the script in Week 4. A 40–14 win over Flag Dealers showcased their offensive firepower, and they followed it up with a 60–0 forfeit win against Sour Puss — not the statement they were hoping to make on the field, but it keeps their record and point differential strong.

Quarterback Duncan Cook has emerged as a strong QB1 in this division, totaling 368 yards and 11 touchdowns to just 4 interceptions. He boasts an 85.3 passer rating and 11.5 yards per attempt, making Airs a dangerous offense despite his modest 55.2% completion rate.

His top target, David Collette, has been electric with 134 yards and 6 touchdowns on just 9 catches — one of the most lethal deep threats in the division. Supporting cast members include Connor Houston (103 yards, 1 TD), Kyle Gordon (53 yards, 3 TDs), and Alexei Dikranian, each contributing in big moments with high efficiency.

Defensively, Airs has been elite. They’ve allowed just 39 points, second-best in the division, and multiple players have stepped up. Collette and Houston each have 2 interceptions, while Duncan Cook is playing both ways and leads the team with 5 pass deflections. Daniel Mennitti has also makes his presence felt with 2 sacks and 4 PDs, while Kyle Gordon leads the team in tackles with 12.

With blowout wins, and lockdown defense, Airs University looks like a complete team. A showdown with Not Fast Just Furious in Week 5 will be a another test — but right now, they’re on a championship trajectory.

Tunesquad (4–0)
Tunesquad has been one of the most consistent and well-rounded teams in Division E, starting the season 4–0 with dominant wins in every phase of the game. They’ve racked up victories over Northvolt, Chapeau Perdu, Bend Don’t Break, and most recently, Sweet Bonanza — outscoring opponents by a combined 143–58 through four weeks.

Their offense features a rare and effective two-quarterback system. Charles Presser has handled the bulk of the reps, throwing for 453 yards, 15 touchdowns, and just 2 interceptions, with a 109.2 passer rating and 12.6 yards per attempt. He’s also been dangerous on the ground, rushing 10 times for 159 yards and 1 touchdown — an incredible 15.9 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Jake Applebaum has stepped in seamlessly when needed, putting up 181 yards, 6 touchdowns, and a 110.0 QB rating of his own.

Tunesquad’s receiving corps has been both explosive and efficient. Dylan Merovitz (182 yards, 6 TDs) and Ben Arnovitz (189 yards, 4 TDs) are among the top deep threats in the division, averaging over 18 yards per catch each. Red zone targets like Michael Sitcoff (3 TDs) and Jesse Dym (3 TDs in just 2 games) give this unit elite scoring flexibility, while Jonah Wachsberg and Applebaum himself contribute steady hands underneath.

Defensively, Tunesquad has playmakers all over the field. Both Presser and Applebaum have 3 interceptions apiece, while Jonah Wachsberg has 2 picks and a pick-six to go with 9 tackles. Dym has also been a key defender with 2 interceptions in just 2 games. Meanwhile, Dylan Merovitz leads the team with 10 total tackles, and Ryan Freedman has chipped in with 2 sacks.

With high-level QB play, multiple scoring threats, a mobile quarterback, and a defense that creates turnovers in bunches, Tunesquad looks like a championship-caliber team. Upcoming games against Gold Rush, Richter, and Blue Mountain State will tell us just how high their ceiling is — but right now, the hype is absolutely justified.

Chomedey Chodes (4–0)
Chomedey Chodes have been clinical through four weeks, starting the season 4–0 with a mix of safe & efficient offense and opportunistic defense. Wins over Takeoff Squad, UNSEEN, Sweet Bonanza, and Shockerz have them sitting comfortably near the top of the standings, outscoring opponents 131–77 in the process.

Quarterback Matthew Bottazzi is quietly having one of the most efficient seasons in Division E. He’s completed 52 of 70 passes (74.3%) for 458 yards and 14 touchdowns — all without a single interception. His 130.8 QB rating is among the best in the division. He’s also a major threat on the ground, rushing 21 times for 274 yards and 4 touchdowns, averaging a remarkable 13.0 yards per carry. Bottazzi’s dual-threat ability has made the Chodes’ offense nearly impossible to scheme against.

His top weapon has been his brother, Jonathan Bottazzi, who is putting together an All-Star caliber campaign. In just three games, he’s caught 19 of 20 targets for 181 yards and 7 touchdowns, averaging 9.5 yards per reception. Other contributors like Ilyas Oudhini (97 yards, 2 TDs), Brock Zwicker, Louie Cote, and Peter Cote provide a well-rounded supporting cast, each finding the end zone at least once.

Defensively, this team thrives on playmaking. Jonathan Bottazzi and Matthew Bottazzi each have 2 interceptions, with Jonathan adding a defensive touchdown as well. Peter Cote also picked off a pass and took it to the house in his lone appearance. Chris Drukker and Brock Zwicker have added another layer of reliability in the secondary, while Idris Oudhini and Alex Forgione bring pressure and pass disruption up— Forgione leads the team with 2 sacks.

The chemistry between Bottazzi and his receivers, combined with a defense that already has 9 interceptions and 2 pick-sixes, makes Chomedey Chodes a legitimate contender. Their upcoming slate includes tough matchups against Blue Mountain State, Gold Rush, and Tunesquad — but if they keep playing like this, they’ll be in the title conversation deep into the season.

Blue Mountain State (4–1)
Blue Mountain State has quietly put together one of the most complete résumés in Division E. After strong wins over Shockerz, Northvolt, Empereurs retraités, and Head Tops Only, their only misstep came in a surprising 38–6 loss to Takeoff Squad. Still, with a +37 point differential and four double-digit wins, this team is clearly a contender.

Quarterback Caleb Willms has been the driving force behind their success. Through five games, he’s thrown for 777 yards, 19 touchdowns, and just 5 interceptions on a 64.6% completion rate. His 105.7 QB rating and 10.6 yards per completion reflect a confident and capable passer who spreads the ball efficiently across a deep receiving corps.

That depth starts with Victor Lasnier-Davies, who has racked up 187 yards and 5 touchdowns on 17 catches, while also leading the team with 16 tackles on defense. Sammy Benaouda has been a consistent chain-mover with 20 receptions for 224 yards and 4 scores, while Jérémie Laplante made an immediate impact in his lone appearance, turning 5 catches into 104 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jared Buck, Johannes Grandin, and Mathew Hartman have all chipped in multiple scores as well, rounding out one of the most versatile receiving units in the division.

Victor Lasnier-Davies anchors the defensive unit with 16 tackles, 1 INT, and 3 pass deflections, while Caleb Willms brings pressure as a rusher with 2 sacks. Jared Buck, Jason Ludvig, and Sammy Benaouda have all been steady in coverage, and Jérémie Laplante showed his game-changing ability with a sack, interception, and pass deflection in just one appearance.

If there’s a question mark, it’s whether they can beat the top-tier teams — and they’ll get their shot soon. A Week 7 clash with Chomedey Chodes and a Week 10 showdown with Tunesquad will give us a better sense of their ceiling. But if Willms continues playing at this level and the defense keeps flying to the ball, Blue Mountain State will be in the title conversation down the stretch.

Gold Rush (3–0)
Gold Rush has looked like one of the most dangerous teams in Division E through three games. After edging out Reborn Prospects in a 30–28 shootout, they responded with back-to-back blowouts: a 38–12 dismantling of STUDZ 2 and a commanding 45–0 shutout of Takeoff Squad. With a league-best +73 point differential and 113 points scored, few teams have been more dominant early.

Quarterback Ness Saleh has been surgical. Through three games, he’s completed 33 of 52 passes (63.5%) for 279 yards and 15 touchdowns, with two interceptions. His 8.5 yards per completion show he’s balancing efficiency with smart decision-making. On the ground, he’s added another dimension — rushing 15 times for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns, averaging 13.5 yards per carry and constantly putting pressure on defenses with his legs.

The receiving core features multiple red zone weapons. Jakob Sacksner leads the way with 9 catches for 83 yards and 5 TDs, while Jared Boidman (3 TDs on just 3 catches) and Matthew Fixman (7/7, 59 yards, 3 TDs) have been lethal in their roles. Even role players like Sam Perez and Lewis Epstein have found the end zone. Sean Herscovitch also made an instant splash with a 40-yard score on his only catch of the season.

Defensively, Gold Rush has been just as impressive. Jared Boidman leads the way with 3 interceptions and 4 pass deflections, while Natanel Elfassy added 2 picks in a single game. Matthew Fixman has been their surest tackler with 11 stops in just 2 games, and Sam Perez has added 2 sacks as a pass-rushing presence. Add in 5 deflections from Epstein and smart team coverage, and you get a unit that has allowed just 40 total points.

With elite QB play, multiple scoring threats, and a defense that takes the ball away, Gold Rush has looked like a complete team. The road ahead includes key matchups against Tunesquad, Chomedey Chodes, and Armed Robbery — which will test just how high their ceiling really is. But through three games, they’ve been nearly flawless.

Bend Don’t Break (3–1)
Bend Don’t Break has lived up to their name through four weeks — showing grit in close games, defensive intensity, and a quietly effective offense that has them sitting at 3–1. Wins over Takeoff Squad, Richter, and Texas Whales have them in the upper tier of the standings, with their lone loss coming to undefeated Tunesquad.

Quarterback Luke Moreau has had an active season, completing 60 of 95 passes for 541 yards and 12 touchdowns. While he’s thrown 7 interceptions, his 63.2% completion rate and 87.3 passer rating show a QB who can keep the offense moving while occasionally taking chances downfield. Moreau is also contributing defensively, with 8 tackles and an interception, playing both sides of the ball effectively.

The receiving group is led by a trio of reliable producers:

  • Dominic Weidner leads the team with 183 yards and 3 touchdowns on 19 catches.
  • Joseph Shporer (160 yards, 3 TDs) is a steady target with a team-high 22 targets.
  • Jonah Lazarovitz has been a red zone weapon, converting 7 catches into 3 touchdowns.

Additional contributions from Owen Bruemmer, William Gillespie, and Ryan Quesnel make this a multi-faceted passing attack that can spread the ball and finish drives.

Defensively, this team thrives on versatility and pressure. Lazarovitz has been everywhere — tallying 1 interception, 3 sacks, and 4 pass deflections in just four games. Josh Notte leads the squad with 7 sacks, while Bruemmer, Weidner, and Gillespie have all been solid in coverage. Their ability to apply pressure and disrupt timing makes them tough to score on, even in tight games.

Bend Don’t Break has shown they can win shootouts and grind out defensive battles. With key matchups still to come against Sweet Bonanza, Armed Robbery, and STUDZ 2, we’ll find out if this team is a true title contender. For now, they’re doing everything right.

Sophomore XL (3–0)
Sophomore XL has made a loud entrance into Division E with a perfect 3–0 start and a +44 point differential through wins over Flag Dealers, Empereurs retraités, and Pack a Punch. This is a team with firepower on both sides of the ball, and they’ve proven early that they’re one of the most dangerous units in the division.

Quarterback Vaughn Vanslet has been lights out to start the season. Through three games, he’s completed 46 of 66 passes (69.7%) for 564 yards and 15 touchdowns, with just 3 interceptions. His 116.4 QB rating and 12.3 yards per completion place him among the division’s elite, and he’s spreading the ball around to a dangerous group of playmakers.

The passing attack is spearheaded by three standout receivers:

  • Dante Sparagna leads the team with 186 yards and 6 touchdowns on 14 receptions.
  • Michael Schiller has been perfect on 8 targets, scoring 5 touchdowns while averaging 11.5 yards per catch.
  • Keyon Cyrus, a do-it-all threat, has racked up 165 yards and 3 touchdowns on 12 grabs.

Additional depth comes from Marcus Kulczycki and Brandon White-Moscovitch, giving Vanslet reliable options across the board.

Defensively, this team is swarming. They already have 9 interceptions through three games, with Schiller, Cyrus, and Sparagna each grabbing 2 picks apiece. Sparagna added a defensive touchdown, while Michael Schiller has also tallied 2 sacks and 3 pass deflections, making plays all over the field. Keyon Cyrus has been especially disruptive with 8 PDs, proving he’s one of the top coverage defenders in the division so far.

With an elite quarterback, multiple red zone threats, and a defense that generates turnovers in bunches, Sophomore XL has the look of a serious contender. The upcoming matchup against Chomedey Chodes in Week 8 will be a litmus test, but if they keep this up, don’t be surprised to see them in the final four.

Reborn Prospects (3–1)
Reborn Prospects have been one of the most electric and unpredictable teams in Division E so far. After a narrow Week 1 loss to Gold Rush (30–28), they bounced back with wins over Texas Whales, Unicorns, and Flag Dealers, showcasing explosive offense and a defense that thrives on creating turnovers. With 109 points scored and 68 allowed, their games rarely lack fireworks.

Quarterback Jeam Clairemond Jr. César has had a rollercoaster start to the season. He’s thrown for 462 yards and 11 touchdowns, but also 9 interceptions through four games. While his 44.0% completion rate is among the lowest in the division, his 11.6 yards per completion shows a big-play mentality — and when he connects, it’s often for a score. On the ground, he’s added another 134 rushing yards and a touchdown on just 9 attempts, averaging a huge 14.9 yards per carry. He’s also made a major impact defensively, with 5 interceptions and 3 pick-sixes, leading the team in both categories.

On offense, Nathanael Dinku has emerged as a true WR1, racking up 16 receptions for 172 yards and 6 touchdowns. He’s been César’s most reliable and consistent target. Charles-Emile Deveault made the most of his two appearances, recording 122 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 9 catches. Deep threats like Kody Rodgers (20.3 yards per catch) and Clifdji Solon add to the vertical element of the offense.

Defensively, this unit is dangerous. Dinku has 3 interceptions and a pick-six of his own, giving the team a lethal 1–2 punch with César in the secondary. McRodly JeanMarie and Paul Jr. Barreau have added additional takeaways, and Kody Rodgers has generated pressure up front with 2 sacks. This defense already has 10 interceptions and 4 defensive touchdowns, making them one of the most opportunistic units in the league.

Reborn Prospects can be chaotic — but they make plays. If César can cut down on turnovers while continuing to lead one of the most dangerous defenses in the division, this team will be a nightmare matchup come playoff time. The Week 6 clash with Not Fast Just Furious will be a big one.

Armed Robbery (3–1)
After getting blown out by Richter in Week 1, Armed Robbery has responded with three straight wins — including a dominant showing against Unicorns and a tight 26–25 finish over TD Blitz. They’ve quietly become one of the most interesting teams in the division, with strong QB play and a defense full of playmakers.

Quarterback Mike Collard has thrown for 634 yards and 13 touchdowns through four games, completing 64% of his passes and averaging 9.9 yards per completion. His 92.3 passer rating reflects his comfort running the offense, and perhaps most impressively, he hasn’t been sacked once all season. Turnovers have been an issue at times — Collard has thrown seven interceptions — but his ability to recover and keep drives alive has kept the offense humming.

The passing game has been a team effort, with six different players recording at least one touchdown. Mike Badibabungi leads the way with 14 receptions for 115 yards and four scores on a perfect catch rate. Daniel Spina has chipped in with 136 yards and two touchdowns, and Keon Dillon-Smith brings a vertical element, averaging 17.2 yards per catch. Daniel Dufour has been the go-to volume option, catching 17 balls on 27 targets for 129 yards and two touchdowns. With additional support from Julian Postarero, George Zergiotis, and Alex Spina, this offense can spread the field and exploit matchups.

Defensively, Daniel Spina has been the standout — racking up 18 tackles, two interceptions, five pass deflections, and two pick-sixes. He’s been one of the most impactful two-way players in the division. Dillon-Smith has also impressed with six pass breakups, an interception, and six tackles, while Dufour (15 tackles) and Alex Spina (six PDs) continue to make plays all over the field. This defense doesn’t rely on one star — it swarms as a unit, and it’s showing up in the results.

With three wins under their belt and momentum building, Armed Robbery looks like a legitimate playoff contender. Matchups against high-scoring teams like Gold Rush and Airs University will give us a clearer sense of their ceiling, but the foundation is clearly in place.

STUDZ 2 (3–2)
After starting the season with back-to-back losses to Unicorns and Gold Rush, STUDZ 2 have turned things around with three straight wins, including a key 27–8 victory over Demons in Week 4. Now sitting at 3–2, this team has found its rhythm offensively while steadily improving on the defensive side.

Quarterback Pierre-Olivier Beaulne Lefebvre has been a driving force behind their resurgence. He’s thrown for 813 yards and 22 touchdowns, completing 60.9% of his passes with a strong 100.5 passer rating and an impressive 12.1 yards per completion. While the six interceptions are worth monitoring, his ability to consistently stretch the field and convert in the red zone has STUDZ 2 among the most explosive offenses in the division.

The receiving group is both deep and productive. Philippe Gélinas leads the team with 24 receptions, 231 yards, and 6 touchdowns, acting as the go-to target in key situations. Antoine Clément has been incredibly efficient, scoring 5 touchdowns on just 10 catches across three games. Big plays have come from Dimitri Melsbach (95 yards, 3 TDs), Mathieu Limoges (148 yards, 1 TD), and a rotating cast of contributors like Alexandre Blanchette, Sean Ross, and Gabriel Arsenault, each of whom has added at least one score. In total, nine different players have found the end zone — no team in the division spreads the ball more effectively.

Defensively, Mathieu Limoges leads the way with 7 tackles and 2 interceptions, showing his two-way value. Philippe Gélinas has also stood out with 7 tackles, 1 INT, and 2 pass deflections, while Alexandre Blanchette leads the team with 4 PDs and brings steady coverage each week. Clément and Lefebvre have chipped in key pass breakups and tackles, and the team has shown growth in limiting big plays after struggling in the early going.

With their offense firing on all cylinders and the defense tightening up, STUDZ 2 is trending in the right direction. The back half of their schedule includes tough games against Armed Robbery and Airs University, but if they keep playing like they have since Week 3, they’ll be right in the thick of the playoff race.
