Division D – Here We Go

Division D – Here We Go
Two weeks into the Spring 2025 season, Division D is already delivering the chaos and competitiveness that makes it one of the most compelling divisions in FlagPlus Football. With a massive pool of 26 teams, it’s a division where one big win can vault a squad into the top five — and one mistake can derail a playoff push. As the standings start to take shape, every snap becomes more meaningful.
Uncle Rico’s Ryders (1–0)
After finishing 3–7 in Winter Division 4A, Uncle Rico’s Ryders came out firing in their Spring debut with a dominant 39–6 win over Still an Inch Short. Quarterback Mathew Yanakoulias posted a perfect 6-TD, 0-INT performance (73.1% completion, 214 yards, 136.9 QBR), and WR Justin Lerner hauled in 3 scores. The defense played very disciplined and didn’t give up many big plays.
Mathew Yanakoulias looked more polished and confident than ever — reading the field well, being smart with the ball and maximizing each possession. With this kind of efficiency and a solid supporting cast, I’m expecting big things from him this season. If he continues to play at this level, Uncle Rico’s Ryders could become one of the toughest outs in the division.
Snowdon Deli Degens (2–0)
QB Adam Malinoff was composed and efficient over two weeks, going 29-for-46 for 338 yards, 9 TDs, and just 1 interception. The Degens took down Practice Squad III 32–12 in Week 1, then survived a 26–25 thriller over Brothermen.
Malinoff, in particular, continues to take meaningful steps forward in his development. He’s got the arm strength, touch, and field awareness to go toe-to-toe with some of the division’s best. If he can maintain this growth, Adam has the tools to be considered one of the top up-and-coming QBs to watch out for in FPF — not just this season, but beyond. The ceiling is high.
Rum & Coke (2–0)
Led by a sharp debut from QB Dante Gerardi, Rum & Coke took down Vieux Lynx 22–12 in Week 1, then followed it up with a 20–12 win over Fumble Factory. Despite not putting up massive yardage totals (224 yards, 6 TDs, 1 INT), Gerardi remains one of the most efficient passers in the division with a 100.2 QB rating.
Even in limited time, Dante reminded everyone why he’s one of the most efficient passers in the division — making smart reads, distributing the ball cleanly, and finishing drives. If these 2 performances are any indication, Rum & Coke will be a tough matchup for any defense this season.
Fumble Factory (1–1)
Fumble Factory started the season with an impressive 31–13 victory over Born Ready, but couldn’t overcome Rum & Coke in Week 2. QB Philippe Corbeil has thrown for 307 yards, 7 TDs, and 5 INTs with a 59.0% completion rate. WR Charles Ducreux has 8 catches, 119 yards, and 3 TDs.
Super Troopers (2–0)
No team made a louder opening statement than Super Troopers. In a 46–18 blowout of Still an Inch Short, QB Kenny Boutilier threw 6 touchdowns and followed it up with 4 more in a 32–14 win over Bullshigh. Through two games, Boutilier has 274 yards, 10 TDs, and a 114.3 QB rating, while rushing for 95 yards on 6 carries in Week 1 alone.
Boutilier is once again proving to be a nightmare for all opposing rushers. His ability to extend plays, and rip off chunk gains on the ground forces defenses into uncomfortable positions. Teams will always have to gameplan for his legs going forward, which opens up the playbook in dangerous ways. If the defense can hold its ground, Super Troopers may be headed for their best season yet.
Les Super Turbos Navets (2–0)
After reaching the Winter semi-finals, the Navets looked like a contender again. They defeated Mighty Ducks 39–18 in Week 1 and crushed FBI FC 45–26 in Week 2. QB Raphaël Caron has been spectacular with 520 yards, 13 TDs, and zero turnovers on 71.2% passing. Filipe Barros and Vincent Bolullo have combined for 303 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Nut N’ Run (1–1)
In one of the highest-scoring games so far, Nut N’ Run beat Stealzz 48–27 in Week 1 before falling to Rick and Marty 40–12 in Week 2. QB Nicolas Katerelos threw 9 TDs and 4 INTs with a 60.3% completion rate and a 93.2 rating. Vincent Malo (156 yards, 3 TDs) and Charles-Antoine Nadeau (114 yards, 3 TDs) have been playmakers.
Katerelos is a true gunslinger — he takes shots all game, every game, and isn’t afraid to challenge deep coverage. That fearless mentality means he’ll always flirt with high-risk plays, but it also makes him one of the most exciting quarterbacks to watch in the division. Expect some huge performances from him this season.
1–9ers (1–0)
The 1–9ers edged Studz in a thriller, 37–33. QB Charles Presser tossed 6 TDs (196 yards, 0 INTs, 121.6 QB rating), including 3 to WR Lucas Quenneville, who had 122 yards.
FBI FC (1–1)
FBI FC squeaked by Brothermen 20–19 in Week 1 but were outgunned 45–26 by Les Super Turbos Navets in Week 2. QB Kyle Folkerson has thrown 7 TDs and 4 INTs (253 yards, 51.9% completion). But the real difference-maker may be Will Power, who has 100 yards and 4 TDs on offense and is active defensively.
Having a guy like Will Power on your team can win you a championship. He has experience at the highest level of FPF and brings leadership and football IQ every time he steps on the field. With him anchoring the roster, FBI FC can’t be overlooked.
Rick and Marty (2–0)
QB Marty Freedman tossed 4 touchdowns in each game, leading Rick and Marty to a 37–24 win over Brewers and a 40–12 win over Nut N’ Run. Through two games, he’s completed 34-of-48 passes for 349 yards, 8 TDs, 0 INTs, and a 131.0 QB rating.
Glogang (1–0)
Glogang picked up a gritty 30–26 win over Trinity in Week 2. QB Tyler Stewart threw for 182 yards, 4 TDs, and posted a 142.2 QB rating with 20.2 yards per attempt. This is a big-play offense to watch.
Studz (1–1)
After losing a close one to 1–9ers in Week 1, Studz responded by dropping 53 points in a Week 2 shootout win over The Boys Are Back?. QB Philippe Gélinas leads the division in TDs (13) and has thrown for 547 yards. WRs Mathieu Limoges (176 yards, 4 TDs) and Antoine Clément (131 yards, 3 TDs) have been near-unstoppable.
The Boys Are Back? (1–1)
WR Tim Horner is having an Offensive Player of the Year-caliber start, with 224 yards and 6 touchdowns in two games. QB Kyle Pedvis leads the league in passing yards (555) but will need to clean up his 7 interceptions if they want to compete with the top tier.
Trinity (1–1)
QB Raphael Bernier has been productive (223 yards, 7 passing TDs, 3 INTs) and adds another layer with 50 rushing yards. WR Antoine Piché has 2 touchdowns, and the defense has playmakers like Vincent Marquis and Michael Couette making key contributions.
Born Ready (1–1)
Bobby Sepentgis has put up solid numbers (340 yards, 7 TDs) and Brandon Parent leads the entire division with 3 interceptions. They’re very much in the mix after a strong Week 2 win over Team Ethnik.
Still an Inch Short (0–2)
Still an Inch Short has been outscored 85–24 through two games, falling to Super Troopers and Uncle Rico’s Ryders. Something has to change soon.
Vieux Lynx (0–2)
Despite two competitive games (22–26 vs The Boys Are Back?, 12–22 vs Rum & Coke), Vieux Lynx is still searching for their first win. This group has experience and could still make a playoff run.
Bullshigh (0–2)
They fell 24–8 to Trinity and 32–14 to Super Troopers. QB Matis Sardinha has struggled (214 yards, 3 TDs, 4 INTs), and the offense has yet to find rhythm.
Brewers (0–2)
A 37–24 loss to Rick and Marty in Week 1 was followed by a 37–28 defeat at the hands of NIGHTHAWKS in Week 2. The Brewers can score — they’ve put up 52 points across two games — but defensively, they’ve allowed too many big plays. QB Paolo Della Rocca has thrown for 392 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions while completing 65.2% of his passes.
Della Rocca is an FPF Hall of Fame quarterback, and while he hasn’t played in the league’s top divisions, he brings that level of IQ and experience to every huddle. He sees the game like few others in the division — diagnosing coverages, adjusting routes, and rarely making the same mistake twice. Never count him or his team out.
Brothermen (0–2)
They lost a heartbreaker to FBI FC (19–20) and then fell just short again vs Snowdon Deli Degens (25–26). This team has been competitive, but they’ll need to close out games if they want to turn the season around.
NIGHTHAWKS (1–0–1)
After tying Team Ethnik 20–20 in Week 1, NIGHTHAWKS pulled out a 37–28 win over Brewers. QB Fabrice Robillard has been excellent (329 yards, 8 TDs, 0 INTs), and WR Stefano De Seta has already racked up 139 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Ball Hawks (1–0)
They dominated Stealzz 32–12 in their lone outing so far. QB Richie Mondesir threw for 5 touchdowns, and both Charles Beauchemin and Lucas Theus caught 2 TDs each.
Practice Squad III (1–1)
They lost 32–12 to Snowdon Deli Degens in Week 1 but rebounded with a 24–20 win over Mighty Ducks. QB Fabrice Tremblay has 203 yards, 6 TDs, and 3 INTs through two weeks, while WR William Auger leads the team with 5 touchdowns.
Mighty Ducks (0–2)
Losses to Les Super Turbos Navets (18–39) and Practice Squad III (20–24) have the Ducks at 0–2. QB Pranav Sharma has thrown 6 TDs but also has 8 INTs. Erick Gellis has been a bright spot with 91 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Stealzz (0–2)
A 48–27 loss to Nut N’ Run and a 32–12 defeat to Ball Hawks have Stealzz still searching for answers. WR Besar Rexhepi has been a standout with 107 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
Team Ethnik (0–1–1)
A 20–20 tie with NIGHTHAWKS in Week 1 was followed by a 33–28 loss to Born Ready. QB Benoit Lawlor has thrown for 366 yards and 6 TDs but also has 6 INTs. Defensively, they’ve shown flashes, but the turnovers need to be cleaned up.
