Coed 3 Semifinals Recap

“Underdogs? Not Anymore.”
When the lights get brighter and the pressure gets heavier, the best teams evolve. They adapt. They execute. And in these Coed 3 semifinals, two teams rose above the chaos and punched their ticket to the big dance — not just by winning, but by dominating.

🧨 Kiss My A’s 44 – 27 BALLS & TD’s
A complete takeover. Statement made.
Coming in, BALLS & TD’s looked like the most polished and high-scoring team in the playoffs. They’d dismantled Les Guerriers, had the swagger, had the stats, and had Gianni Casati, one of the division’s top threats.
But Kiss My A’s? They didn’t care. They came out swinging with 32 first-half points, stunning everyone and never looking back.
Alexi Dubois played smart and efficient football — 10 completions on 15 attempts for 95 yards and 2 touchdowns, plus a rushing TD to keep the defense off balance. He didn’t need to be flashy — just mistake-free and in control. And that’s exactly what he was.
The real fireworks came from the defense.
Kiss My A’s forced 4 interceptions on Ettore Casati, who came into the game red-hot.
- Alexis Labonté: INT + pass deflection + a pick-six
- Neil Wright: INT, 2 PDs, pick-six
- Élie Bourget and Alexandra Falcon-Korb: each snagged pick-sixes of their own too
- 4 PICK-SIXES
And as if that wasn’t enough, Élie Bourget added a receiving touchdown and Raphaelle Pelland made her one catch count — a 36-yard score.
BALLS & TD’s still had their moments — Gianni Casati put up 72 yards and 2 TDs, and Maijie Yvan caught 8 passes for 64 yards. But the turnovers were devastating, and the defense couldn’t contain Kiss My A’s’ pace.
This wasn’t a lucky win. This was a beating.

💣 Anything 29 – 12 Thunder Villains
The storm ran out of thunder.
Thunder Villains had momentum. They’d just taken out DreamKillers with swagger and defensive grit. But this was a whole different test — and Anything passed with flying colors.
The opening drive set the tone: Félix Déry-Bernard drove down the field, capped it off with a TD, and the defense followed up with a pick. By halftime, it was 22-6.
Déry-Bernard once again showed off his dual-threat ability:
- 13/23, 105 yards, 3 passing TDs
- 4 rushes for 30 yards and a rushing TD
He spread the ball beautifully to 6 different receivers. Frederic Raymond, Audrey Lajoie, and Alexandre Desmarais each caught touchdowns, and Ariane Neveu quietly led the team with 32 receiving yards and 3 interceptions on defense. Yes, three.
The defense as a unit was ruthless.
- 3 INTs (Neveu)
- 2 sacks (Frederic Raymond & Alexandre Desmarais)
- 5 tackles each from Neveu and Lajoie
Thunder Villains had flashes — Francesco Calabrese scored both of their touchdowns and caught all 8 of his targets — but Simon Valiquette’s 3 interceptions derailed any hope of a comeback.
It wasn’t their best day also missing their starting Quarterback Terry Babalis. But it was Anything’s moment.
💡 Standout Stars – Semifinals Edition:
- Ariane Neveu (Anything): 5 tackles, 3 INTs, 32 receiving yards
- Élie Bourget (Kiss My A’s): Receiving TD + pick-six
- Alexis Labonté (Kiss My A’s): 3 tackles, INT, PD, defensive TD
- Félix Déry-Bernard (Anything): 4 total TDs, 135 combined yards
- Raphaelle Pelland (Kiss My A’s): 36-yard touchdown on her lone catch
✨ Final Thoughts:
We came in thinking BALLS & TD’s and Thunder Villains might be heading toward a Finals clash.
But the playoffs don’t care about hype.
Kiss My A’s and Anything have proved they’re the most complete, most battle-tested, and most dangerous teams left. Now only one will finish the job.
Next stop: the championship.
